Author Guidelines

Accepted authors should retain these requirements while preparing their final manuscript and presentation.

Scope of the Conference

  • The conference accepts only original experimental research papers.
  • Review articles, survey papers, theoretical papers, opinion papers, and purely literature-based studies will not be considered.
  • The submitted work must include experimental implementation, methodology, results, analysis, and conclusions.

Originality of Submission

  • Submitted manuscripts must represent original and unpublished work.
  • The manuscript must not be under review or submitted simultaneously to any other conference or journal.
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring the authenticity and originality of the submitted work.

Number of Authors

  • A manuscript may have a maximum of four (4) authors.
  • Out of these, only one faculty member is permitted as a co-author.
  • All remaining authors must be students.

Authorship Policy

  • The presenting author must be a student author.
  • After the manuscript submission deadline, no new author can be added under any circumstances.
  • The order of authors cannot be changed after submission.
  • Requests related to authorship modification will not be entertained.
  • Only one paper from each author or co-author will be considered for publication, as the total number of accepted papers is capped at 50.

Manuscript Preparation

  • Manuscripts must be prepared using the official IJAIST Author Template (mandatory).
  • The IJAIST template is the only accepted format.
  • Do not include page numbers, headers, or footers in the manuscript.
  • Papers must be written in clear and grammatically correct English.

Submission Format

  • Only PDF files will be accepted for the review process.
  • Papers must be submitted through the designated conference submission portal within the specified deadline.
  • Authors should ensure that the submitted PDF is complete, readable, and free from formatting errors.

Plagiarism and AI Usage Policy

  • All submitted manuscripts will be screened for content similarity and AI-generated content before being sent for review.
  • The maximum permissible similarity index is 15% (excluding references, quotations, and standard bibliographic content, as applicable).
  • The AI-generated content score must be less than 10%, as determined by the tools adopted by the conference.
  • Manuscripts exceeding either of the above limits may be rejected without review or returned to the authors for necessary corrections before the submission deadline, subject to the decision of the Technical Program Committee.
  • Authors are solely responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts comply with the conference's academic integrity and publication ethics requirements.
  • Any form of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, or unethical publication practice will result in immediate rejection of the manuscript.

Review Process

  • Every submitted paper will undergo a peer-review process by subject experts.
  • The reviewers' decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection shall be final.

Acceptance and Registration

  • Authors of accepted papers must complete the registration process within the prescribed deadline.
  • Registration is mandatory for every accepted paper.
  • Failure to register within the stipulated time will result in cancellation of the paper acceptance.

Presentation

  • Every accepted paper must be presented during the conference.
  • Only a student author is permitted to present the paper.
  • Failure to present the paper during the conference may result in exclusion from the conference proceedings or certificate issuance.

Important Notes

  • The organizing committee reserves the right to reject any paper that does not comply with the submission guidelines.
  • Authors are advised to proofread their manuscripts carefully before submission.
  • The decision of the Technical Program Committee regarding acceptance and publication shall be final.

Publication

Selected and presented papers may be considered for publication in a Google Scholar indexed journal, subject to editorial review. There are no publication charges for selected papers accepted for journal publication.
